Make delicious fall of the bone short ribs in your Power Pressure Cooker XL! You don’t have to cook short ribs for hours to have tender juicy meat that your whole family will enjoy.

4-6 beef short ribs
½ cup potato starch or cornstarch
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
1 ½ cup red wine
1 cup cola
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
2 Tbsp. olive oil

dry rub:
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. black pepper
¼ tsp. cayenne
1 Tbsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. salt

Garnish: minced parsley and marjoram

• Season the ribs with dry rub. Dredge in cornstarch.

1. Place the Inner Pot into the Pressure Cooker. Press the Chicken/Meat button, then the Time Select button. Set for 25 minutes.
2. Heat the oil, then sear short ribs 2-3 at a time. Return ribs to Inner Pot.
3. Add in the onion and garlic. Sweat 1-2 minutes
4. Add remaining ingredients.
5. Place the Lid on the Pressure Cooker and lock. Switch the Pressure Release Valve to Closed.
6. Once the Timer reaches 0, the Cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM. Press the CANCEL button. Switch the Pressure Release Valve to Open. When the steam is released completely, remove the Lid.
7. Serve over your favorite starch.
